WELCOME TO LEOGOLFING

Throughout this project I have been continuously learning and enhancing my Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills throughout the project without even realizing it. Having strong ATL skills is crucial as I am preparing to enter the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Understanding the rigor of the IBDP, it is essential for me to master these skills. The two main skills I have developed throughout the project are my communication and self-management skills. For my communication skills, I have been continuously communicating with different groups of people, ranging from experts to every group. For my self-management skills, I have also consistently planned my work and managed my time using action plans, Gantt charts, and daily agenda sheets. As a result, I have completed my project with high quality.I believe that my communication skills were crucial from the beginning to the end of the project. In order to create a successful website, I had to communicate with experts in golf and website construction. Initially, I spoke to Mr. Shick about website construction and found out that he also owns a website. This was important as he could help me with constructing my website, so we have been in continuous communication. Later, I found out that my teacher outside of school also operates a few websites, so I spoke to him. Since I didn't have a credit card to pay for the website, he helped me to make the payment, which made my life easier. I also used my communication skills with my golf coach, discussing how coaches can effectively teach golf starters. The usage of communication skills was extremely beneficial.Throughout the project, my self-management skills were crucial not only for this specific project but for every task I undertook. The lessons I learned from this project will be extremely valuable for my future career. I created a precise action plan for this project, which helped me stay on track and motivated me to put in extensive effort. Using a Gantt chart provided a clear visual of the workload for each task, which motivated me to stay focused. Additionally, implementing a daily agenda Excel sheet helped me stay organized and on top of my tasks. These aspects were all instrumental in helping me succeed throughout the project. It works just like a range finder when playing golf, it gets players prepared to hit a good shot. One thing that is evident about me is my newfound love for sharing and teaching. Prior to embarking on this project, I had never been involved in anything related to educating diverse groups of people. However, after undertaking this assignment, I have developed a strong desire to educate people about the sport I am truly passionate about - the sport that I have dedicated significant effort to. The path to success is not always smooth, and this project was no exception. I made numerous changes throughout the process but still managed to complete it. In the future, I intend to continue working on this website and hopefully make it increasingly popular among golfers.This project will help me as an IB student, as I have grasped the key aspects of being a good student. As time goes on, I will need to use the ATL (Approaches to Learning) skills even more, and I look forward to the future.
